Odhinn asks a draught of the mead from Gunnlod and drains the three cauldrons. He shape changes into an eagle and escapes back to Asgard pursued by an angry Suttung. A small amount of the Mead falls to the ground before Odhinn is able to spit out the Mead into new retainers within the safety of Asgard.

Within this it reflects interaction of energies that forms the heart of the 24 rune cycle (see diagrams on the next page) with the lateral expression of life and growth j and dynamic co-existence with layers of expanding consciousness I.

This provides the concurrent paradox of the counter evolution of the rune cycle from f to o.

In this way the runes are symbols to understand and interpret the Universe with its layers of existence.
